It is a blow to Air France. Reportedly, seven of its aircraft are blocked because of an oversight of maintenance services group. Roissy teams would not consider the life cycle of aircraft brakes and have forgotten to change them. As a precaution, Air France decided to block the seven Airbus concerned. Airbus and the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) should be entered in the next few hours.

The affected devices are Airbus A 319 ER-called "Dedicate". This is a first class service to Air France destinations of large companies and certain niche markets, including oil trades. These devices are made available to business customers with on-board service "premium" and more staff available due to small devices.The Airbus A 319 ER also has the distinction of having two additional tanks of 3,000 liters each to increase its outreach.

Contacted by Le Figaro, the management of Air France spoke of an "action program of preventive maintenance" that resulted "delaying some flights Dedicate program of March 22.

Air France operates the unit in five destinations: Riyadh and Jeddah (Saudi Arabia), Malabo (Equatorial Guinea), Pointe Noire (Congo) and N'Djamena (Chad).
